Ridge Tool Company has introduced the new Flat Pack SeeSnake™ video inspection system for seeing inside 1-1/2" to 4" pipe lines. This lightweight, compact SeeSnake features a thinner, flatter drum for easier accessibility.
With its fixed drum design, the Flat Pack SeeSnake has a slimmer profile but a wider footprint than other SeeSnake models. Its flat, compact size enables the entire unit to fit into tight spaces that won’t accommodate larger SeeSnake equipment.
The Flat Pack SeeSnake features a 1.2" camera head with 24 infrared LEDs for superior illumination; a 100-foot push cable that travels deep inside drain lines; and a unique, stainless steel, tapered spring for unmatched maneuverability through traps and connections. The Flat Pack SeeSnake comes with a black-and-white or color camera. An integrated, in-line transmitter is standard equipment, and allows for easy locating with any 512 Hz locator.
The Flat Pack SeeSnake can be ordered with a 5" black-and-white or color monitor that offers a high-resolution, 380-line picture, and can be adjusted to six different angles. It comes in a rugged, splash-resistant, self-contained case with a built-in shade and a spring-loaded, multi-position kickstand. A video jack allows connection to a VCR for recording. A battery port allows the use of a 14.4-volt drill battery.
Like all SeeSnakes, the Flat Pack allows quick and easy viewing of inside drain lines to determine the exact cause and location of any problems. The unit offers outstanding durability, from the scratch-resistant, debris-shedding sapphire lens to the stainless steel camera head and spring assembly.
