The NaviTrack

New RIDGID® NaviTrack™ Features Superior Accuracy.

A state-of-the-art line locator was recently introduced by the Ridge Tool Company at the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo in Nashville, TN. The NaviTrack™ line locator features superior accuracy, making it the fastest, easiest, most accurate method to locate underground pipe, cable and utility lines available on the market today.

With its unique, large, real-time, liquid-crystal mapping display, the NaviTrack guides even the most inexperienced operators, regardless of how the unit is held.

The new RIDGID/Kollmann line locator can quickly identify the location and depth of a transmitter in buried pipes and drains. It also locates underground cast-iron pipes, water lines, electrical lines, telephone lines and other metallic cables when they are energized. The NaviTrack operates in three modes. The search mode uses gauges and audio signals to guide the user to the target area quickly and easily over long distances. The map mode locates the transmitter and maps the direction of the pipe. The trace mode locates energized lines and power lines.

The versatile NaviTrack provides more feedback than standard line locators. Its large LCD display has digital and audible signal strength indicators and a real-time mapping image. All of the information is displayed in an easy-to-read format. An ergonomically designed, balanced handle and a keypad that can be operated by one hand enable users to easily and accurately operate the new locator.

“This new line locator will allow virtually any technician to locate. The ease-of-use will not only reduce costly downtime, it gives the user another source of potential revenue,” commented Tim Smith, product manager, RIDGID/Kollmann products.

With high-quality electronics and rugged, durable construction, the NaviTrack is built for long-lasting service in the field. Like all RIDGID products, the new line locator is backed by the RIDGID lifetime warranty.
